Sian Thrasher
Cognitive Behavioural Therapist in Banbury

I am a Clinical Psychologist working with everyday people (young and old) to help them manage emotional distress. I find the techniques and style of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy invaluable in helping clients move forward with problems. In my clinics, I am regularly impressed by the speed of recovery and the extent of the benefits which can be reaped using relatively brief interventions. With more than 20 years experience working with adults and teenagers, and with regular ongoing supervision and professional development, I am able to provide a high level of excellence in the field of psychological treatment for a range of issues including anxiety disorders, sleep problems, mild to moderate depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Chronic Fatigue and Post-Traumatic Stress. Whether problems are short-term or more long-standing, CBT is evidence-based in its effectiveness across a range of problems. For teenagers in particular, this concrete, skills training approach, with a collaborative style is acceptable and interesting.
