I am a dedicated and professional Complementary Therapist with over 19 years experience working as a therapist in clinics, client's homes, corporate companies and festivals. My current clinic practice is in Surbiton at Ward and Cross.

I became inspired by therapies after a period of illness during my art degree which changed my life. I began a healing journey through yoga, nutrition, complementary therapies and art. I have developed a more mindful and holistic approach to living and a strong passion and commitment to the health and wellbeing of others using my skills and knowledge as a therapist.

Background & Indian Head Massage Qualifications

I trained at the Middlesex School of Complementary Medicine and qualified in Reflexology, Advanced Auricular Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Reiki (Master Level).

I have advanced training in ‘Reflexology and Cancer care', in addition to in depth training with Paul's Cancer Support Centre and their home visiting service, where I provided treatments and attended regular supervision.

I have also had advanced training in Pregnancy, Pre-natal and Post-natal Care with Louise Keet at the London School of Reflexology, as well as Seated Acupressure Training with Touch Pro.

I am fully insured and a member of The Complementary Therapists Association.

I have CRB clearance.

My Specialisms

I am specialised in Reflexology, Auricular Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Reiki.

Reflexology is a holistic therapy which works on the premise that the body is divided into 10 zones and all internal organs within each zone are mapped onto the soles of the feet and hands. With the gentle application of pressure to specific areas of the feet or hands, the practitioner can detect, massage and release any tiny deposits of uric acid crystals and imbalances within the whole body. This improves the circulation to the specific organs, eliminates toxins, boosts the immune system, eases away tensions and stimulates the body's own natural healing ability, helping emotional and physical problems. It is incredibly relaxing and will leave you feeling calm and re-centred.

Auricular Reflexology involves massaging & pinpointing specific acupuncture points on the ears. A tiny, 1.3mm pressure ball & plaster is then applied to the point and left on after the session for 3 days to boost the effects. It can help to improve many health problems and is particularly useful for back & neck problems, stress and anxiety and giving up smoking.

Indian head Massage is a non-invasive treatment and involves deep and slow, gentle, rhythmic massage movements applied to the whole back, shoulders, arms, neck, head & face to ease away tensions & stress, inducing a sense of calm & tranquillity. It is performed on a special massage chair. The benefits are wide ranging and can include improvement in sleep patterns, circulation, lymphatic drainage, concentration levels, sinus problems, headaches, skin, hair & scalp conditions.

Reiki is a non-invasive form of healing, using the ‘universal life energy' channelled through the practitioner to the recipient, to restore the flow of energy to the 7 chakras of the body, which if blocked can manifest as emotional or physical problems. It therefore helps to reduce stress and can improve many ailments & emotional issues. It is an extremely calming treatment.

Approach to Indian Head Massage & How I Work

The treatments which I practice are called 'holistic' therapies, which means 'whole' and so when I do a treatment, I will take in to account all aspects of the person; the mind, the body and spirit and not just the physical problem or ailment. During the consultation stage, I will go through your medical history, current conditions, life style, work, stress etc and look at any areas of improvement. I will work with you during the treatment on these areas through reflex points, chakras, meridians, acupressure points and induce a deep state of calm, to enable your mind and body to replenish and help and support you through any mental and emotional blockages as well.
