Elizabeth Bray
Naturopath in Taunton

As a registered Nutritional Therapist and Naturopath I aim to find the root cause of your symptoms and devise the best possible plan to assist you.
I have been practising since 2005 , having studied health sciences and herbal medicine at degree level and a diploma in naturopathic nutritional therapy. Offering one to one consultations to find the root cause of your symptoms at Body-Balance Clinic, Wrantage and Taunton, Somerset or Axminster Devon. Also appointment by secure video link using Practice Better, a portal and App for your test results and protocols.
I aim to find the root cause of your symptoms and support you in your health goals. I may recommend specific laboratory tests for vitamin and minerals levels, pH balance, gut flora imbalances, hormones, menopausal symptoms, to assess imbalances that may be connected to symptoms. A supplement prescription, using natural and herbal supplements as far as possible is included.

I use the test results to rebalance and optimise nutrient levels with a carefully devised nutritional programme for you. I use the extensive evidence base for nutritional science to develop a personalised, safe and effective nutrition and lifestyle programme. Ongoing CPD forms a large part of my nutritional and naturopathic work.

Nutritional therapy is recognised as a complementary medicine and is relevant for individuals with chronic conditions, wide ranging health problems, fatigue, fibromyalgia, hormone imbalances, sports nutrition as well as those looking for support to enhance their health and wellbeing, for all ages.

Approach to Naturopathy & How I Work

I am passionate about the links between foods and health. Through my own personal experience of fibromyalgia and finding the answers I needed to restore my own health using natural health and herbal medicine.
I now support clients with chronic problems, inflammation, hormone imbalances, fatigue and other health problems and imbalances. Reach your health and weight goals with a personalised nutrition programme, following evaluation of your diet and symptoms. I provide support for reaching long term goals, and this will be at an initial consultation, with possible follow up appointments, to make gradual, safe changes and optimise your health.
