Approach to Nutritional Therapy & How I Work

I work in a person-centred way, which means that your needs and wishes are at the very heart of what I do. I focus on the whole you, rather than just a condition.
We start with an Advanced Wellness Blood Test, which assesses 47 health biomarkers, including thyroid hormones, inflammation and diabetes risk.
Following this, we have a comprehensive consultation, where I collect your most important medical history, your current lifestyle, dietary history and genetic factors, and we discuss your personal goals.
I assess your current nutrient status with a 3-day diet diary, to identify any deficiencies.
Coaching and monitoring appointments take place weekly, on-line, via Zoom. In the early stages the focus will be on appetite, hunger and cravings, but as these diminish, we will adjust and implement new strategies to help you reach your goal.
