Simona Novakovic
Nutritional Therapist in London

I am a highly qualified registered Nutritional Therapist with a background in medicine. A long career working as a physician brings many skills and broad experience to my nutritional therapy practice. Since graduating with BSc (Hons) in Nutritional Therapy I have worked in my practice in Central London. In 2014 I came to Breathe London, a well established clinic on the South Bank (Waterloo) where I lead a Nutritional Therapy service.

I hold MSc in Medical Sciences which enables me to combine an evidence based approach with my clinical knowledge. Therefore, all my recommendations to the clients are supported by scientific evidence.

I have experience working with young and middle age, busy professionals who often feel stressed and tired, unable to lose weight, can't perform at their best, experience digestive discomfort , allergies or food intolerances, hormonal problems and disturbed sleep. I really take the time to design a highly personalised, safe and effective diet &lifestyle program to help with their unique requirement.

I offer a range of services from one-to-one consultations and personalised packages to interactive workshops, group presentations, shopping trips. Access to private laboratory testing. NEW: Food Intolerance test now available .

Approach to Nutritional Therapy & How I Work

I believe that each individual is unique and I really take the time to design a personalised, safe and effective diet and lifestyle plan rather than a 'one size fits all approach'. I work alongside medical professionals and I will frequently inform them (subject to permission) of any nutritional support you receive through me. I also insist that the support I offer is not an alternative to conventional treatment.

Before the consultation you will be sent a health and nutrition questionnaire to complete. A typical initial consultation lasts between 60 and 90 minutes and in this time I will ask detailed questions about your current health concerns, symptoms, medical history , family history, diet and lifestyle, use of medication and supplements. I will then evaluate individual needs and design a highly personalised diet and lifestyle plan. Where appropriate functional testing and some supplements may be offered.
Subsequent follow up sessions last 45 - 60 minutes in order to monitor progress and make any necessary adjustments.

I also offer discount for students, over 60s, complementary therapists and healthcare professionals. Please call for details.
