Martin is a psychotherapist with over 20 years experience, he specialises in anxiety disorders but also see clients for a full range of issues including depression, panic and anger issues, anxiety, PTSD, sleep issues and relationship issues. As well as being in private practice he has worked as an associate therapist for a number of EAP groups (Employment assisted programmes) and has been linked to the NHS training board for the east midlands helping doctors and registrars with their own mental health and well being.

Martin works from a positive solution focused approach drawing on a wide range of concepts and ideas which looks at where you are now and how to move things forward in positive and constructive way as quickly and effectively as possible.

Background & Psychotherapy Qualifications

Martin has been in private practice for over 20 years, he holds a bachelors degree in psychotherapy and a PhD in counselling psychology.

He is a life member of the Open University Psychological Society and a Senior accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and the National Counselling Society

Martin works from a range of approaches but primarily a third wave CBT approach of ACT - Acceptance and Commitment Therapy which looks at a positive solution focused approach linked with the individuals values and beliefs.

Additional Rate Information

Initial one and a half hour consultation can be arranged at £85 and follow up subsequent sessions are £68 for up to the hour
