How can Homeopathy help cluster headache sufferers?

Headaches are one of the most common health problems that affect people today. But, not every headache is the same. Some will last for a split second, while others can last for hours. 

There are three types of headaches: cluster headaches, tension headaches, and migraines. In this article, I will be discussing cluster headaches.

What is a cluster headache? 

A cluster headache is a severe, painful disorder where the pain is located at the back of the eye, often causing it to weep. Pains come on in ‘clusters’ or episodes, and each one lasts from 10-30 minutes. The intensity of the pain is known to be one of the most painful headaches that you can ever experience. 

Here I will share with you the experience of JM, a cluster headache sufferer. A 64-year-old male, JM had suffered for over eight years before turning to Homeopathy. He frequently experienced two to three attacks a day, which was making his life a misery. 

Doctors prescribed strong painkillers and steroids, which succeeded in halting the pain for a while, but the attacks would then return more aggressively. Needless to say, the medication also came with some side effects

How can Homeopathy help?

JM was treated with a homeopathic remedy that fitted his individual symptoms. He was also given homeopathic remedies to detox his body of the medication he had been taking, and to cleanse his liver.JM also took maximum doses of magnesium supplements, along with regular bathing in Epsom salts (magnesium sulphate). Recent studies have shown that headache sufferers often have a magnesium deficiency.

Within weeks, things started to improve as the pains became less severe and less frequent. And, within a few months, JM was completely headache-free and had come off all his medications. He finally got his life back and his health improved on all levels. 

How does Homeopathy work?

Homeopathy works by stimulating the body to re-balance and repair. Those familiar with Homeopathy will have come across the concept of treating ‘like with like’. 

JM’s chosen remedy for the cluster headaches (according to his individual symptoms) was made from a substance that, in its purest form, would create a severe headache. But, once ultra diluted in water and prepared into a homeopathic remedy, it becomes a safe and a non-toxic solution; thereby treating ‘like with like’ had the desired effect.
