The growing interest in Past Life Regression as a therapy

Posted by Niki Cassar Hypnotherapist Over 1 Year Ago

The interest and demand for Past Life Regression as a form of therapy is resulting in a steadily growing market. When I first qualified in Hypnotherapy and Past Life Regression, the number of people wanting PLR was relatively small.  Over the years, demand for PLR has grown significantly and I now happily divide my time between doing 5-PATH® Hypnotherapy, Past Life Regression and Informed Soul Technique™, with some clients wishing to combine all three forms of therapy.

How Past Life Regression Can Benefit You

The many issues that can be helped range from panic attacks; eating disorders; sleep problems; fertility; IBS; phobias; depressed states, psycho-sexual problems; also all the ‘doing-too-much’ issues, such as eating, drinking, gambling, shopping,

By exploring your past lives, you can:

  • Better understand your purpose for being here
  • Have a clear ‘picture’ of the life you have planned
  • Become aware of how and why you may have deviated from that plan
  • Discover the origins of mental and physical problems including irrational fears or phobias
  • Find the reasons for your continuing pattern of unwanted behaviours
  • Gain insights in order to have healthier and more joyful relationships
  • Through clarity, have the ability to make better choices in your life

The Death Experience

The last day of the life can be a peaceful or occasionally traumatic event.  People often express a concern about having an unpleasant death, and I reassure them that, although there may be some brief discomfort, they will feel like actors who have really got into their role and are giving the best performance of their career.

The Transition

Once out of the body, the transition stage is almost always a beautiful experience.  Fear of death is totally alleviated and replaced with a new realisation that death is not an ending but a continuum.  We only reincarnate in human form for the purpose of attending a training school where we can learn important lessons.

The Review and Planning Stages

A very important part of the process is the Review Stage which we move to after the Soul has moved away from the body and reports being in the Light (or whatever name they choose to give this ‘place’) and is asked to recall the main theme of the life and how well they thought they did.

Next comes the Planning stage, where the Soul creates the new contract for the next incarnation. Finally, decisions on parents and other important ‘characters’ they are choosing to take with them, and reciprocal agreements (sometimes called Soul Contracts) are explored, and the Soul is now ready to move on to the next incarnation

Integrating of Information

At every stage, clients are encouraged to bring the information into their conscious awareness and to recognise how they can integrate it and use it for their benefit, and  much insight is gained by this process. The regression is brought to a close by reinforcing the valuable information to remind them about their life purpose, so they can get back on the path and achieve what they came into this life to achieve.

Be aware that one single session of PLR is never sufficient to give us all the information needed to clear the accumulated negative patterns, just as a single piece of a jigsaw can never give us the complete picture on the box cover.  Clients typically experience greater feelings of calmness, peace, confidence and a sense of being more in control of their life.  This often leads to improved physical health and also happier and healthier relationships.

Past Lives – Fact or Fantasy?

No-one can guarantee that the past life experience is real or genuine,  but when I am asked this question, the best answer I can give is that it is up to the individual to make their own decision, based on their personal ‘past life’ experience.  Most people have a strong sense of reality, but even if they decide they just ‘made it up’, I ask them where did the information come from?  Mostly they agree it was from their imagination, and are surprised to learn that the imagination is housed within the Subconscious Mind!
