Approach to Therapy & How I Work

At Zest: Physiotherapy for Life we value the time necessary to implement evidence based physiotherapy. We value timely physiotherapy intervention to prevent or postpone decline in function and independence. We believe that the benefits gained by physiotherapy should not stop when potential for improvement ends, and that the benefits of maintenance and prevention of decline should not be underestimated. Our clients benefit from continuity of care and the development of positive working relationships between therapists and their carers.

Zest: Physiotherapy for Life offers a proactive approach to dementia specialist physiotherapy. Physiotherapy plays an essential part in promoting and maintaining mobility for people with dementia and particularly has a vital role in end of life care, by managing positioning, seating and painful contractures and can provide essential support and education to care home staff and carers.
