I am an experienced and qualified therapist and have been in full-time NHS practice in Manchester since 2014 and part time private practice. I am registered with both the BABCP and am trained to offer CBT. All treatment is carried out in a respectful, constructive, supportive and non-judgemental environment.
I provide confidential and accessible CBT that can help you with your current difficulties, whether face to face, via telephone, or Skype, helping you to overcome the challenges in your life and live your life to the fullest.
I have worked extensively with individuals with long term health conditions and the onset of mental health difficulties due to those conditions. I value and enjoy working with third wave CBT theories and interventions looking at acceptance of difficulties to live a more valuable and pleasurable life.

I have experience of working with a wide range of issues including anxiety, panic disorder, depression, stress management, trauma, addictions, bereavement, abuse, anger management, trauma, generalised anxiety, OCD, PTSD, public speaking, low self-confidence and low self-esteem, insomnia and sleep disorders, relationships issues, eating disorders, bulimia, anorexia, fears and phobias, shame, IBS, and pain control

ONLINE THERAPY / SKYPE

I am also available for online psychotherapy / counselling sessions via Skype. This is useful if you are too far away to travel to work with me face-to-face, or if you have issues that make travelling difficult.

I am a qualified and experienced Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist,with a masters in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy. I have experience in delivering CBT within the NHS, private sector and voluntary sector.

I successfully provide CBT for a wide range of problems that can have a negative impact on our wellbeing, which include Depression & Low Mood (including Post-Natal Depression), Anxiety & Worrying, Stress, Sleep Difficulties, Anger, Low Self-Esteem/Confidence, Lack of Assertiveness, Health Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Phobias, Pain Management, Body Image Difficulties, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
