Approach to Therapy & How I Work

I trained at Regents University, London in different models of psychotherapy including psychodynamic, psychoanalytic, relational, humanistic, attachment therapies and cognitive behavioural skills. However I primarily work within the existential tradition, which explores being human and all that entails.

Life can take many pathways. Each of us finds our own way through life's inevitable changes, making choices that impact in many different areas of our life and that sometimes leave us in unexpected or difficult places.

Where you are now is the focus of our work, which centres on you and how you experience all aspects of your life. It is a holistic approach that sees body, mind, emotions and spirit as inseparable aspects of being, which all require care and concern. There are no tick-box solutions, fixed theories or preconceived idea.

Whatever your issue by exploring your situation in a safe and non-judgemental professional environment,  together we can search for new possibilities. Existential therapy offers a space where you can be heard, a space where you can speak, feel and think freely, perhaps for the first time.

I will give you the space and time to talk and be heard. Together we will explore your situation, to look in depth at areas of your life that don't seem right at the moment. I will do all that I can to facilitate your search to understand the choices you have made and what you want from life. Our therapy is about helping you to find your own way and live fully.
