I am a qualified Integrative Psychotherapist and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I integrate a range of methods skills and approaches to suit you and your needs.
I have worked in a diverse range of settings across a 30 year period including Criminal Justice, Education, Mental Health and the Prison Service. This has enabled me to work with complex mental health needs and I have also acquired skills as a group facilitator . I have a commitment to enabling and empowering individuals to access the right support to move forward and you will find me to be warm, empathic and commited to walking alongside you as you face your challenges.
I integrate a range of methods skills and approaches to suit you and your needs, but foremost you can expect to be met as a unique individual. A good starting point is for us to decide together what you want and need from therapy.
I have considerable experience of working with a range of mental health difficulties including, anxiety ,depression, panic attacks, relationship difficulties and a history of trauma. My specialisms include working with individuals who have relationships difficulties and experienced childhood adversity and trauma. This can often lead to difficulties in adult attachment and future relationships . I draw upon this experience to enable and empower individuals who are struggling or have experienced domestic/narcissitic abuse.
Do you need to break free from a toxic relationship. Narcissistic abuse recovery is a complicated process, and it helps to have a therapist or counsellor who understands exactly how it feels to be where you are - or at least one who truly understands the subtle but toxic nature of this pervasive, manipulative and controlling type of abuse.
Please feel free to contact me for any further information you may require.
