Christine Joyce

Counsellor in Southampton

I am an experienced Registered and Accredited Counsellor and Supervisor working in private practice in Southampton.
I have worked in a number of counselling agencies providing professional counselling to a wide range of clients. I am an integrative therapist, working with psychodynamic, person-centred, cognitive-behavioural and existential therapies.

My desire to be trained from an integrative perspective was very much based on my experience of people and the conviction that not one therapy fits all. I provide professional counselling for depression, anxiety, stress, spiritual issues, relationships, bereavement, infant loss, abuse and trauma, life changes, emotional issues and relationship difficulties. I provide a safe place to explore step by step issues that may sometimes seem overwhelming and confusing.

Approach to Therapy & How I Work

Our life history and early relationships have a strong influence on how we view ourselves as adults and whilst we are not defined by the past counselling can help to disentangle the past from the present and future. I can help to make sense of your issues, leading to resolution and stepping forward in your life.

I offer both short and long term therapy as well as online counselling via skype/webcam. I also provide counselling for couples.
