I was born in Antwerp, Belgium, in 1983. I graduated as an Integrative Psychotherapist at the Educational Academy (member of the European Association of Psychotherapy - EAP). I also completed a year-long course as a professional coach with the BAO Group. I have been professionally active as a psychotherapist, facilitator and coach since 2009.
In the summer of 2019 I moved from Belgium to Hastings, to create a life here together with my English partner.
I attach a lot of importance to continuously investing in my personal and professional development via supervision/intervision and following additional workshops and trainings, such as:
- Principle Psychology or Three Principles (Kaizen training, Hertfordshire)
- Organisational & Relationship Systems Coaching (CRR, London)
- Facilitator Voice Dialogue (Voice Dialogue Institute, Belgium)
- Adaptive Intelligence (Institute for Neurocognitivism, Belgium)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) (ACT Academy, Belgium)
- Creative therapeutic use of stories (Educational Academy, Belgium)
- Solution focused coaching (Educational Academy, Belgium)
- Mindfulness training (Educational Academy, Belgium)
- Bio-energetic body work (Institute for BodyMind Integration, Belgium)
I provide this info to reassure you that I have received the proper training to work with people. However all of these methodologies and tools are not what truly matters.
The most important thing to make a personal development process work is the relationship between you and your coach/therapist.
That you feel you can be open, and that there is enough safety for you to share yourself.
And that you have enough trust in the person and the process.
For me, curiosity and compassion are two attitudes I value highly in relation to the people I work with. I will not hesitate to confront you in a gentle and playful way, so as to invite lightness and creativity to situations that sometimes feel heavy and void of options. One of my big drivers is a passion for clarity and helping people get in touch with their own strength.

We are waiting for the therapist to complete this information.
What makes me different is that I am a trained psychotherapist and relationship coach (not just a counsellor), and I work with something called the Three Principles. This is a completely new way of understanding the human mind, and works well for reducing negative thinking patterns and helping you to feel free and vibrant in life.
Where a lot of classic counselors or therapists will help you to reframe your thinking, talk a lot about the past and 'work on yourself', usually this only helps for a while and feels like effort. The principles understanding focuses on a deeper level and is therefore transformational in a lasting way and effortless.
What happens in a session?
As I already said we are not going to 'fix' you.
I will ask you to share what you are currently dealing with, and you will convey this as best you can. Even if it is without words or step by step because it is difficult to share it all at once.
I will listen to you with an open mind and heart, and will ask questions or offer alternative ways to help you express how you experience your situation.
We might explore some exercises so you can try out different approaches, rather than just talking about what is going on.
We will investigate what is currently not working for you and your relationship with your own thinking and inner world. You will learn to connect to your own inner wisdom and get clarity on what to do.
In some cases it may be helpful to gain some insight into your personal history. This can bring unconscious patterns to light and make you more aware when you bring them into your present situation. Another possible approach is that we focus more on the future you want to create and how you can reach the goals you set for yourself without getting in your own way.
We will discuss the process together. On average, we will take some time after 5 sessions to evaluate from both sides: how are you feeling about the approach, what works well and what does not, and what needs more or less attention.
This way we can both decide how to move forward together.
Tools and interventions
This type of therapy will be interactive, which means I do not just sit and listen while you talk.
Different ways of working are possible:
- experiential exercises (focusing, bodywork, ...)
- creative work with pictures, drawings or other materials
- constellations with paper or objects
- mindfulness exercises and meditation
- stories and parables
- walking in nature
We will discuss and agree on things you can do at home.
I regularly organise group workshops focusing on specific topics. You can find them under the tab 'practical' on this website or sign up to the newsletter to receive updates.
It can be incredibly supportive and beneficial to share experiences with people who are going through similar things in their life.
- how to manage your inner critic
- bio-energetic bodywork
- radical self-compassion
- crucial conversations
- dealing with toxic behaviours
