Approach to Therapy & How I Work

Humanistic, integrative, person-centred approach.

There is no waiting list and appointments are arranged within 7-days of the initial free (no obligation) telephone consultation. This can be arranged by telephone/ text/ online form/ email.

All enquiries are welcome and all forms of enquiry come straight to me. I will respond within 12hours to agree with you a suitable time to provide to you an initial free telephone consultation.

If you decide you want to start counselling we will discuss and agree suitable arrangements for your sessions . Following this, I will forward you a terms of service.  This outlines the professional standards you can expect of my practice. If you wish to proceed to fee based meetings these are arranged within one week.

The number of sessions each individual is entirely their decision. Some people find a few weeks helps and others attend for longer.  Weekly/ fortnightly meetings tend to allow people to get the best out of counselling, as they progress through their problems meeting frequency can be reduced to fortnightly/ monthly meetings.  It really is up to you.
