Counsellor in Richmond

If you or someone close to you is considering psychotherapy, I would like to encourage you to reach out. Counselling and Psychotherapy can offer the potential for life-long change. Still, one of the hardest choices can be finding the right therapist. I have an Integrative approach to Psychotherapy, this means I integrate an approach that is suitable to your individual needs and to your personal pace. I offer a space that is confidential, open, caring and without judgment.

I have two private practices that support individual adults and adolescents in TW9 (Richmond, Wimbledon, Twickenham) and TW15 (Ashford, Staines, Egham, Middlesex) etc. I also see clients at a placement service in Richmond, London.

I offer both short-term (solution focused: Typically from 6 or 12 sessions) and open-ended/long-term psychotherapy at 50 minutes per session.

Approach to Therapy & How I Work

I have a compassionate way of working and also draw from the teachings of Carl Jung as well as Inter-Family Systems Therapies. Having studied in the area of psychology and counselling for over 6 years, I have a wide range of experience within the field that is translatable into my practice.

My previous experience includes being a Professional Tennis Coach to all ages. I have also acted as a mentor to young people and as an academic tutor to students at the University of Essex. As a result of this experience, I have offered a wide range of supportive coaching and mental-coaching to adults and young people. This means I can also offer a practical way of working whilst assuring my clients through personal difficulties with a caring, non-judgemental approach. With this experience, I am able to encourage an active and healthy lifestyle both physically and mentally. I also offer mindfulness approaches and techniques to help my clients with personal stresses and find balance throughout their life. I can integrate these experiences into my practice if this is something that may interest you.

As well as my experience throughout the field, I have personally felt the mental and physical benefits that psychotherapy has to offer. I hope to offer this process to others.
