I am a fully trained and accredited professional Integrative Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor with experience in many issues. I work with all ages and offer both short and long term counselling.
I am also trained in Life Coaching and can use this alongside counselling to help clients manage their lives to maximise their potential and reach their own goals.
By offering you a confidential and safe space to talk through your issues I can help you begin to understand how past events and experiences may be responsible for your current beliefs, behaviour and actions. By helping you to see things in a new way it allows you the choice of change. With help and support you can make the changes you may have always wished for or have yet to discover. I believe that by helping you to understand yourself it enables you the tools to make the most of your future.

I am a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the Association for Independent Practitioners (AIP), I hold Professional Accreditation with The National Counselling Society (NCS), and a I am a Registered member of the British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP), and as such I adhere to their policies and code of ethics, a copy of which is available to upon request. I hold current and valid Indemnity Insurance.

Approach to Counselling & How I Work

I am an Integrative therapist and Clinical Supervisor using an Integrative approach, it allows me the skills and flexibility of other theories to enable me to tailor therapy to each individual client and work with a wide variety of issues and clients. At the core of Integrative Theory is the relationship between counsellor and client and it is with this in mind that I strive to build a strong, trusting and empathic relationship with all of my clients
As an Integrative Therapist, I combine a number of theoretical approaches to assist with the issues I work with.
These approaches are:
Psychodynamic - Exploring childhood and early years
Transactional Analysis - Examining Patterns of Behaviour and Life Scripts
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) - Questioning Core Beliefs
Person Centered - Affirming and offering Unconditional Positive Regard UPR
Existentialism - Concentrates on the 'here and now'
