My name is Mauva Johnson-Jones and I am the founder of Precious Moments and Health Ltd. I am married and a mother of two children and 2 grandchildren, who I adore. I am an Integrative Counsellor using the Person Centred approach to help my clients to move forward, using the most effective therapeutic approach for each unique client. At Precious Moments and Health Ltd, we have developed a team of counsellors and mentors to work with families, adults, adolescents and children. As one size does not fit all!

My Specialisms

Precious Moments and Health Ltd specialise in working with children in care, fostering and Adoption and supporting their placements in order to try and stabilise the children's emotions and behaviors where necessary. We enjoy working predominantly with adolescence and undertaking play and creative therapy with children. We can also use creative therapy with adults and therefore we feel we can provide a holistic approach to individuals to help them deal more effectively with their inner thoughts and feelings.

We get emotionally challenged and fully understand the issues one can experience as a mother or a parent trying to do your best for your family but feeling sometimes like you just want someone to talk to and listen to you for a change. Well, we can provide that helping hand too!
