Approach to Counselling & How I Work

I like to think that I have a flexible and down to earth way of working. Having completed a number of therapy trainings from different approaches, I consider myself an integrative transpersonal therapist - meaning that I approach each client as an individual and draw from relevant theory as appropriate. I focus on the dynamics of the therapeutic relationship, and aim to offer support and supply relevant and helpful information where desirable.

I believe in the human ability to heal and grow and understand that suffering can be transformative.

I have a well trained medium sized dog who sits in on sessions likely sleeping.
