Craniosacral Therapist in London

I am deeply passionate about injury rehabilitation and optimising health. I work in two key modalities: Structural Integration (a deep tissue approach to re-aligning the body) and Craniosacral Therapy (a light touch method of restoring balance to the nervous system)

With an in-depth knowledge of body mechanics, I work with deep tissue massage and guided movement over the 10-step series of Structural Integration. Developed in America in the 1930's by Dr. Ida Rolf, it is a cycle of renewal, creating postural re-balance and ease of movement.

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle way of working with the body using light touch. It helps activate the body's natural self-regulating mechanisms through re-balancing the subtle movements present in the cranial bones and along the spine.

Alongside my practice, I teach Movement & Mask at The Actors Centre, with a background in the physical theatre of Jacques Lecoq, and interweaves the training and knowledge of aerial dance, yoga & martial arts.

My Specialisms

I specialise in working with Headaches, Anxiety & Sleep disorders. Craniosacral therapy is a gentle way of re-regulating the nervous system when the body is held in a high tension state. This can be the result of one event or prolonged anxiety over a sustained period. The body's nervous system will go into either a fight/flight or freeze response, shutting down the normal function and homeostasis of the body systems (digestive function, circadian rhythms & hormone balance). Through this light touch therapy the body begins the repair and re-regulation needed for everyday life.

In Structural Integration, a key area of my work is with yoga and meditation practitioners enhancing their awareness of the mind-body connections present and integration of this within their practice. Structural Integration acts as a catalyst, unfolding and re-integrating old patterns, while opening up deeper physical awareness and ease of movement.
