Marina Bielenky

EFT Practitioner in Stroud

I hold the view that given the right conditions every human being can flourish and I aim to foster a relationship in which growth can occur. My experience tells me it is never too late to undo unhealthy patterns of behaviour( which may have developed in childhood) leading to difficulties with relationships, low self-esteem and lack of meaning or purpose in life. I use Emotional Freedom Technique( EFT) and AIT advanced integrated therapy (chakra work) as well as the more usual talking therapy to aid and speed up the processing of past trauma.

I work online and from home with individual adults who are experiencing distress or dissatisfaction in their lives, from a variety of causes such as Anxiety including panic attacks, Bereavement, Childhood abuse, Depression including post natal, Ill health, Trauma, Transitions of any kind, Unhappiness

My past experience as a GP has given me an understanding of how inter-woven mind and body are and how in illness counselling and psychotherapy can improve the well-being of patients and their carers

Abuse, Anxiety including panic attacks and phobias, Bereavement, Boarding school survivors, Burn-out, "Carers" of a relative, Child sexual abuse, Chronic illness, Cancer diagnosis, Cultural difficulties Depression, Empty Nest syndrome, Family problems, Loss, Low self-esteem, Mid-life issues, PTSD, psychosomatic illness Relationship difficulties/breakdown, Spirituality, Trauma and Work related difficulties

Approach to Therapy & How I Work

As a Humanistic Integrative practitioner I work with the relationship between myself and each individual client, aiming to provide a safe space in which to explore in confidence deep underlying concerns. I believe many people have become disconnected from their sense of their own truth and innate worth and by sometimes focusing on the body and breath reconnection can be achieved. I also use EFT (emotional freedom technique) and AIT (Advanced integrative therapy). This makes use of the body's energy channels and speeds up the work
