, Bowen Technique, Homeopath - Bridgnorth
Kate Fullerlove has been working in central Bridgnorth, as a Bowen Technique Therapist, since shortly after qualifying in 2010.
She has worked in the field of holistic, alternative medicine for more than 12 years and is a great believer in the body's ability to heal and re-balance itself with the aid of holistic, alternative therapy; this belief has grown from all the evidence she has seen and experienced over the years.
Kate finds Bowen Technique such an inspiring therapy to work with and is impressed with how she feels it has helped many of her patients find physical relief - along with an increased sense of well-being. Homeopathy is another of her passions as it can help people move on from "dis-ease" on both physical and emotional levels. She has been using homeopathic remedies and flower essences for many years, and qualified from the Lakeland College of Homeopathy in 2006.

Approach to Therapy & How I Work
My approach to work is a gentle and reassuring one with both Bowen Technique and Homeopathy. I treat every person according to who they are, taking into account not only their presenting symptoms but also their medical history and susceptibilities. I aim to help them identify the possible roots and maintaining causes of the pain and "dis-ease" in the longer term, suggesting alternative ways to sort out and help them return to pain free and fulfilling lives, if it is appropriate.
I always have the clients' best interest at heart and help make them feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible, both physically and emotionally. Patient confidentiality is an important part of my work, along with adhering to the BTPA's strict Ethics and Code of Practise.
The wonderful thing about Bowen is that the treatment does not need to continue over a long period of time. Within 2 or 3 treatments patients can generally see if this therapy is for them, with long-term or chronic complaints, and this can be sooner for acute issues. Having Bowen therapy as soon as possible after injury, stress or strain can help the body back to a state of well-being very fast and has also been used to prevent recurring injuries. This fact is borne out by the fact that more and more sports people opt for it, including Bear Grylls and footballer Dwight Yorke to name just two.
I treat all clients - including those with long term chronic conditions, such as Parkinsons, MS, ME/chronic fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Polymyalgia Rheumatism - with the appropriate touch and relevant treatment to help ease their symptoms, creating the right environment for them to on from their state of "dis-ease".
If I feel that some Homeopathic remedies or Essences may be appropriate or beneficial to Bowen patients, or Bowen Technique for Homeopathy patients, then I outline this to the person and let them decide if they are interested.
Homeopathy is a natural system of medicine that has been practised worldwide for more than 200 years, being popular in mainland Europe and widespread on other continents, such as India. The idea of gently helping the body to heal itself over a period of time can seem impractical or too wishy-washy, but the experience of many is positive; that in itself is enough of an incentive for people to use it. It can be used alongside used alongside prescription drugs, medical procedures and surgical interventions, reducing side-effects and promoting a sense of well-being. Homeopathic remedies do not reduce the effectiveness of prescription drugs and are side-effect free.

Additional Rate Information
It is £5 extra for either the first appointment, in other words £45, as it is up to half an hour longer (90 minutes in total). This extra time allows me to have a much fuller picture of your medical history and presenting complaints, enabling me to understand the possible roots of your condition and make your treatment more beneficial for you. This applies to both Bowen Technique and Homeopathy consultations. With Bowen Technique, I generally book patients new to the therapy for a follow up treatment about 7-10 days later when they book their first appointment. With Homeopathy, the cost of the treatment includes the remedies and essences prescribed.

"I would not hesitate to recommend Kate as a Bowen technique practitioner and homeopath. I felt relaxed and nurtured during each session due to Kate's warm and caring personality. My shoulder problem has completely disappeared along with symptoms related to anxiety. On every level, physical, mental and emotional the Bowen technique heals and rebalances. It is a completely holistic treatment that has changed my life in many positive ways. It is unlike anything I have ever experienced before, gentle yet powerful changes occur without my initially being aware of them happening. I have complete faith in Kate's skill and expertise. "

"Kate has a wonderful approach because she listens my ramblings and complaints and then includes me in the treatments, because she knows my body can heal itself given the required support, release and alignment through homeopathy and Bowen treatments - and now I know it can too.
Thank you Kate"
