Homeopath in Brentford

I am a professional homeopath, and a licensed member of the Society of Homeopaths, working from my practice in West London. Also, I work for the Centre for Homeopathic Education; supervising and advising students in the student teaching clinic, and also supervising students on a one-to-one basis .

I would like to say - in case you don't already know - that I think homeopathy is the most wonderful system of health care. My commitment to homeopathy began many years ago, and remains undiminished. Homeopathy works with you to try and bring you gently back to health, and may make you feel better than you have for years!

I practice homeopathy in West London on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, between 8am and 6pm - but will try to accommodate you at other times if at all possible. Contact can be made via telephone, email, and webcam (after an initial face-to-face appointment).

Background & Qualifications

2000 - 2004: trained at the Centre for Homeopathic Education, qualifying with a licentiate.
2000 - present day: fully paid up registered member of the Society of Homeopaths.
Previous work was in a completely different field, unconnected to complimentary medicine.

I am on the committee for West London Homeopaths, an active group arranging seminars for professional homeopaths, and providing support.

My Specialisms

I work extensively with people suffering from anxiety and/or depression. Also, treating hayfever is a regular and successful feature of my practice. Other than that, my experience is common to any general practitioner; treating babies and childhood illnesses, and adults for a wide range of health problems.

Approach to Therapy & How I Work

All consultations are confidential, and professional homeopaths are bound by the Society of Homeopaths Code of Ethics.

FIRST APPOINTMENT : Adults - £60, children under 18 years - £50
SUBSEQUENT APPOINTMENTS : Adults - £50, children under 18 years - £40

BETWEEN APPOINTMENTS
When you come to see me, the first appointment is usually approximately an hour and a half to two hours long. You are encouraged to tell the complete history of your illness and your life, and you will be listened to intently, because it is vital to get as full a picture of 'the real you' as possible. Your treatment will then be tailor-made to your exact, individual state.

After the consultation I may spend time reflecting on the information you have given me before prescribing a remedy; in which case you will receive your prescription within a couple of days.

Follow-ups normally last up to an hour, and are at intervals of 3-4 weeks. This period allows time for you to respond to the prescription, and we will then evaluate your progress together.

You will be able to speak to me or email between appointments as much as you wish, and I will not charge for enquiries that can be easily dealt with - but it may be necessary to book a proper consultation if the enquiry requires more time.

DO YOU NEED TO BRING ANYTHING TO THE APPOINTMENT?
When you book your first appointment, I will send or email you a sheet of questions about your past and family history to fill out, which you should bring with you when you come. Also, please bring a list of any medications you are currently taking.

MISSED APPOINTMENTS
If you cannot keep your appointment, please tell me at least 24 hours beforehand, so that someone else can use your appointment. If you do not inform me, I have a cancellation policy.
