Victoria Diamond

Massage Therapist in London

Victoria runs a small osteopathic and well-being studio in Southwark. Recently moved from The Artworks in Elephant and Castle we are now at 33 Swan Street, SE1 1DF, with it's great transport links mid way between Borough tube and Elephant & Castle tube stations. It is a perfect place to get the treatments you need.
Victoria came to osteopathy after a long desk based career in international finance in London and Tokyo when she received osteopathic treatment during her pregnancy discovering it's effectiveness and long term benefits herself. Wanting to find out more about how it all worked led her to a complete career change.
Since that time she studied at the British School of Osteopathy, the UK's oldest and largest osteopathic school gaining a Masters in Osteopathy and a Post Graduate Certificate in Paediatric Osteopathy as well as being a qualified sports and pregnancy massage therapist and medical acupuncturist.
She is also an affiliated advanced Perrin Practitioner for CFS/ME.
She regularly uses varied techniques within a treatment.
She enjoys treating people from all walks of life and all stages of life from children to the elderly and everything in between!
Victoria is experienced in treating all types of complaints and conditions including sports injuries, postural problems, and pregnancy.
Recognising that each person is unique she creates bespoke treatment plans; using massage, gentle joint articulation and manipulation, medical acupuncture and mindfulness informed osteopathy to treat more chronic conditions.

Approach to Therapy & How I Work

Victoria ensures that every patient is approached individually; a full examination is undertaken in order to understand the' why' as well as the 'what'?
Treating 'what' is wrong is not always the answer and getting to the root cause and treating the 'why' gives longer term solutions.
Victoria's approach is gentle and effective, but do not expect to be a passive participant as she aims to explain fully her reasoning and understanding of your problem so that you too can be completely involved in your treatment and recovery.

Testimonials

"Victoria is an excellent osteopath who won't be thwarted by tricky problems. She's very versatile and thinks outside the box in her approach. I've been to various other osteopaths before her, and have a rather tricky back, and she didn't give up until she found something that worked. She's clearly passionate about her work and constantly improving her skill set. I recommend her highly!"

"Victoria is a brilliant osteopath. Over the last year I have come to her a few times with sports injuries or with pain that didn't seem to have a clear cause. Each time she has taken the time to do a full diagnosis and helped me figure out how to both fix it in the moment and prevent it in future. Last time I saw her the pain had been keeping me up at night, and after only one treatment it was gone!
Victoria is friendly, professional, and makes me feel comfortable at all times during the treatment. She is happy to explain what she is doing, and always asks for consent before she starts a new part of the treatment.

I have a disability that affects my muscles, and Victoria always remembers and takes it into account during treatment. At the same time, she understands that movement is my job, and will quickly patch me up so I can get back to work.
Both as a person with a disability and as a dance teacher, I recommend Victoria Diamond very much!"

"As always an excellent treatment from Victoria. I can reply on her to help with my ongoing back pain and to help fix and new aches and pains that appear"
