Mindfulness Practitioner in Oxford

Welcome, My Psychotherapy and Craniosacral Therapy practice offers a compassionately held space to explore what matters.

In these times of great change, challenge and opportunity we can benefit from a sensitive and skilled person to be alongside us as we explore the layers of our experiences. It is within the safety, containment and spaciousness of the therapeutic relationship that we can heartfully inquire, without judgement or agenda what matters to you. What we call suffering appears in many forms in life; we may know it as grief and loss, anxiety, fear, uncertainty, relationship challenges, serious illness, addiction, climate concerns. It is by turning towards ourselves with kindness and curiosity that the distress or uncertainty we feel can become a doorway for healing to happen. Through this process we can gain insight, find new perspectives and
re connect with our inherent health and wisdom.

The wisdom of the body can be easily overlooked in our mind-focused culture. Craniosacral Therapy is a restorative practice that happens through sensitive touch to your fully clothed body. Craniosacral Therapy can rebalance a stressed digestive and nervous system, support healing from injury and surgery and reconnect you to your inner well-spring of vitality and calm. There is a short video above created by the Craniosacral Therapy Association that gives further information about this healing therapy.

My Specialisms

For over 20 years I have been engaged in meditation practice and this embodied, contemplative approach informs my life and work.

I have a particular interest in supporting women of all ages through times of change and transition. I have created a body of work called Reclaiming the Wise Woman, which happens over a cycle of 8 one and a half hour sessions. Through this healing work we will explore your meeting and deepening relationship with the Wise Woman in ways that speak to you including a combination of; meditation, river walks, drum journey, craniosacral therapy, creating simple ceremony and reflective conversation.
