I cover most areas of counselling issues for example, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I am an integrative therapist and practice eclectically depending on the client's presenting issues which means that together with the client we explore their core issues, set achievable goals and work towards realising those goals.
Who is counselling for and why do you need it?
It is desirable to feel happy. However, we do experience high and low moments as human beings. When we feel low, we often find ourselves in an inescapable web of emotions. Sometimes talking to friends and family does help soothe the pains. But you need something more than that - counselling.
Counselling helps people who are in distress to make the necessary changes they need to overcome difficult experiences and take control of their lives. To be able to achieve this, you need a well trained and experienced therapist who can provide you with a safe and welcoming therapeutic space - and your story is kept safe. You will be effectively listened to and supported through those difficulties to make the right choices and decisions. For over 23 years, I have enjoyed helping clients who feel trapped in difficult situations by being congruent, being non-judgmental, showing them acceptance and empathy. I work with clients from all cultural and social backgrounds.

Approach to Therapy & How I Work
I am an effective EMDR practitioner. I use EMDR to work with clients who have experienced trauma regardless of age, cultural and social background. I also provide EMDR therapy to a wide range of clients - individuals and organisations. Assessments are carried out before the sessions and the number of sessions required will be dependent on the severity of the issue. I practice in Luton and neighbouring Bedfordshire counties, SE London (London Bridge) and Chiswick, West London. I work with a wide range of clients and issues using attachment focused therapy, Sand play, Theraplay© and other therapeutic approaches. I work part time in a school as a play therapist and psychologist, and I have experience of working in CAMHS, mothers with addiction issues in mother and baby units.
