Taking the step to seek support can be the start of a whole new chapter, a chapter where you envision the life that you'd like to live and take steps towards finally creating that life for yourself.

Below is a breakdown of what to expect if you decide that now is the right time to take the next step and we can figure the rest out together.

Initial stage: What to expect
An initial assessment session is where we can meet in person and discuss what's been going on for you in more detail. We would then be able to explore the possible ways forward for you, all in strictest confidence. There is no obligation to continue with therapy after this session, the decision will be yours to make, based on how you feel.

Next stage: what to expect
If you decide that you'd like to begin ongoing therapy with me, we will arrange a regular day and time to meet each week. The length of time you choose to engage in therapy will be up to you and ending therapy will be your decision, whenever you feel it is the right time. I will follow your lead.

What I can offer
What I offer is a human connection and an array of services which are tailored to fit your needs. Short-term and long-term therapy is available, as well as a variety of therapeutic approaches. The way I work aims to promote a warm, collaborative experience, where you can feel free to talk filter-free and make sense of things. Once you've gained deep awareness and can see the picture more in focus, you will then be in a position of choice and change if you desire.

Background & Qualifications

My training in psychology spans over 8 years of education, including completing a Doctorate in Psychotherapeutic and Counselling Psychology. My clinical experience spans over 11 years.
I've worked within the NHS, Universities, Charities and now Private Practice. As well as counselling, I also lecture in psychology to Undergraduates and trainee Doctors.

My Specialisms

My therapeutic training includes Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, as well as mindfulness. A benefit of being trained in various therapeutic models is that I am able to tailor a unique therapy for every individual. An array of therapeutic tools means that, through collaboration, clients are able to mold their own therapeutic experience

Approach to Therapy & How I Work

Therapy can be more than just a space to discuss difficulties, it can be a place of learning, healing, playing and growing. Through life there are times when every individual could benefit from support and taking the step to ask for assistance is an important part of that process.

My way of working therapeutically values the uniqueness of every individual and aims to provide a non-judgmental and safe space where you can feel free to express yourself. What I can promise you is that I will be human, just like you.
