, Craniosacral Therapist, Physiotherapist - London
I've always believed there was more to health and wellbeing than focussing purely on the physical body. Soon after qualifying as a physiotherapist in 2005 I trained as a craniosacral therapist. This start to my journey as a therapist provided me with a solid grounding in anatomy and physiology and gave me the tools to approach health issues in a way that integrates all dimensions of living - physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, behavioural and relational.
Craniosacral Therapy gave me an insight into my own life story, my relationship to myself and to those around me. I gained an understanding of unhelpful and unhealthy patterns in my life and the potential to change them. Having experienced the deep and long lasting impact of Craniosacral Therapy, it inspired me to offer this approach to others.

I have extensive experience working with adults and children with a wide range of physical, emotional and behavioural issues. Please contact me in relation to your specific situation and I would be happy to discuss how craniosacral therapy may be of benefit to you.
I have a special interest in neurology and I currently work with a charity that supports those affected by brain injury. I have worked in a variety of settings including the NHS, schools and in private practice. This has included working with people with physical, cognitive and behavioural difficulties as well as engaging challenging young people with complex social, emotional, behavioural and mental health needs. I have, through this experience, gained a greater appreciation for the scope of Craniosacral Therapy. I worked as a senior tutor in the College of Craniosacral Therapy for 5 years and continue to work with the college as a visiting tutor. I also teach a variety of postgraduate craniosacral therapy courses.
Approach to Therapy & How I Work
My professional and personal experience led me to appreciate the breadth of needs we all have as individuals and develop an approach which is holistic, balanced and integrated.
I offer a variety of approaches which can include physiotherapy or joint working with a psychotherapist, depending on your individual needs. I provide a safe space in which you can gain further understanding of your symptoms or experiences. This could involve exploring the history of your symptoms, your own way of responding to the world and others or how you embody your emotions. Depending on your situation the focus may be on building your body's resources or releasing any tensions or traumas that may be present. My aim is to support you to make any changes that may be needed to gain or maintain an overall sense of wellbeing.
