About Amber Reflexology

Welcome to Amber Reflexology! My name is Amber Sanderson and I have been practicing reflexology for over 12 years, but my fascination with the subject goes back much further, since I first experienced a taster treatment about 10 years prior to this.
Reflexology had been in the back of my mind ever since, but it wasn't until I was at home with two small children that I considered it as a career choice. One of my first case studies whilst I was training was my mum, she had been suffering with moderate joint pain due to an old injury, and we were both astounded by the results a course of treatments gave, so this encouraged me further to pursue a career that would help people achieve their wellness goals whilst also fitting around family life.
Since moving to Blaxton near Doncaster I am able to work from my home treatment room, although I still offer a handful of mobile visits for those who are unable to get to me for their treatments.
My treatment room is cozy and tranquil, and I am a conveniently located in Blaxton near Doncaster, serving the Doncaster and wider South Yorkshire / Isle of Axholme area.
Due to the current government guidelines, I am only currently able to offer foot reflexology I offer Reflexology. Hand Reflexology, Reiki and Indian Head Massage treatments are temporarily suspended until the current COVID-19 situation improves.

Background & Reiki Qualifications

I qualified as a Reflexologist in 2007 with the Northern School of Reflexology in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, where I gained a level 3 diploma.

I am fully insured and a member of the Association of Reflexologists, enabling me to use the letters MAR after my name. Therapists who have trained with an AoR approved school will have completed over 300 hours of learning, and carried out a minimum of 100 treatments during training and are required to continue their training to remain a member. I work to the AoR's code of conduct and ethics.
The qualification I hold is recognised by the NHS and many health care providers and insurers, such as Westfield, Bupa, Medicash and Health Shield.

During the 12 years I have been practising Reflexology, I have helped countless people with stress, anxiety, sleep disorders and wellbeing, as well as providing support for people living with illness.
The aim of Reflexology is to treat and support the person as a whole and is intended to work alongside allopathic healthcare.

Approach to Reiki & How I Work

My treatment room is a calm and tranquil purpose-built studio at my home which is conveniently located in Blaxton near Doncaster. It is important to me that my clients are made to feel at ease and that any troubles are left aside. Once the confidential consultation forms are completed, you will be invited to remove your socks and shoes and take a seat in what is said to be the most comfortable recliner in the world. I'll play some calming music whilst you drift away and enjoy your treatment, then afterwards you will be offered a drink of water whilst we chat about the findings of the treatment and create your bespoke treatment plan in order to help you achieve your wellness goals.
