I have been a BACP Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist since February 2013 (Registered since February 2011) so I have over 3 years and 10 months of post-registration knowledge of working with clients. In addition, I gained years of experience of working with clients as part of my training. I work with Individuals and Couples. I'm experienced in working with people from different backgrounds and cultures, and assisting with the particular concerns they face. My specialist experience is in Work Problems. I also have experience as a Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

Client Centred Therapy
Client Centred Therapy concentrates on appreciating and supporting you. It encourages your openness around the concerns you encounter. Client Centred Therapy aims to help you find your own solutions.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
CBT concentrates on how your thoughts (cognitions) affect your emotions and actions. It identifies and addresses negative ideas which perpetuate the issues you experience. The objective of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is for you to have healthier thoughts and emotions.
The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) (England and Wales) indicates CBT for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) (ME), Depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Panic Disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Counselling centres on listening to you, and assisting you. You decide what issue concerning your childhood and/or adult life you discuss. The objective of Counselling is to help you to speak about a difficulty and discover a solution which is right for you.
Psychotherapy focuses on you, and you obtaining insight into the difficulties you confront. It explores your ideas, feelings and significant moments in your history. Psychotherapy aims to help you change or find suitable methods of managing.
