, Relationship Therapist, Sex Therapist - London
My background is in nursing, where I still work in sexual health. My interest in sexual function led me into training as a psychosexual therapist. This has given me an advantage in understanding factors involved in sexual difficulties, which may be physical or psychological in origin, or a mixture of both; this helps me in tailoring a program specific to each person or couple's circumstances. As sexual difficulties hardly exist in isolation, couples therapy became an obvious next step in my training.

Approach to Therapy & How I Work
I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as well as Mindfulness in working with clients. Exploring relationship and sexual difficulties in a private, caring, supportive and compassionate environment can help provide insight into relationship patterns, help couples express themselves emotionally and sexually, develop the skills to communicate effectively, develop strategies to solve problems effectively, and resolve specific sexual dysfunctions. I also provide couples and individuals with life skills to manage difficulties should they arise in future.
