I have specific experience with transgender, and diverse sexualities and I work affirmatively.
Approach to Therapy & How I Work
I began as a psychodynamic counsellor, which is about understanding how we are influenced by our past and our unconscious awareness. I then trained to use cognitive behaviour therapy, which is very useful for making changes in our thinking and in our lives. I now work in an integrative way focusing on listening to and understanding my client, and working with them to help them make changes to improve their lives and sense of wellbeing.
