Growing up in Switzerland, I have always enjoyed a very active outdoor lifestyle, playing a wide range of summer and winter sports at a competitive level, which resulted in numerous sports injuries. It was through receiving considerable rehabilitation treatment for my own injuries that sparked my interest in western forms of physical therapy.
In my 20's, during my years travelling and living in Asia, I was introduced to Traditional Oriental Medicine and its holistic approaches to understanding health. This inspired me to train in Eastern methods of bodywork and healing arts, including Chinese and Japanese Acupuncture, Shiatsu, Reiki, Yoga and Meditation.
I am a registered practitioner of the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), which is the register of the United Kingdom Government's regulatory body for Complementary Health and is recognised by the National Health Service.
.
I am also a member of the Register of the Shiatsu Society UK (M.R.S.S) and the Acupuncture-Acutherapy Council (MAcuC).
In order to be a registered member of those regulatory and professional bodies, I have to meet the minimum standards of qualification and have signed up to a rigorous Code of Conduct.

A session usually lasts an hour, which includes a short discussion, assessment and treatment. Subsequent appointments may be shorter or longer, depending on the condition and the treatment plan.
Depending on your condition, it's chronicity and underlying imbalance as well as the demands you make on your body and the changes you want to make in your body; the work can last from several treatments to several months. Treatment can also be used as regular maintenance work over years.
Daniel often works with other therapists in rehabilitation as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team of Doctors, Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Nutritionists and Psychologist.
