I offer personal Yoga therapy in a private studio near Weston-super-Mare. Yoga can help with a range of conditions from back pain to insomnia; A regular Yoga practice can assist with recovery from illness or operations, reduce joint pain, help improve bladder weakness, anxiety or depression and much more. I have taught therapeutic Yoga since 2009, based on the teachings of TKV Desikachar and Paul Harvey.

Background & Qualifications

Qualified Yoga teacher and Yoga therapist. Centre for Yoga Studies (cYs) Teaching Diploma (2012) and continuing postgraduate studies. Full British Wheel of Yoga accreditation.

Yoga to improve well being in body and mind. Older people are welcome. All practices are designed to suit the client's age, ability and personal goals.

Approach to Therapy & How I Work

I ask clients to complete a short questionnaire describing themselves, their lifestyle, any health issues and what they would like to achieve. I offer an initial consultation at no charge, where we discuss their answers and I talk about what Yoga could offer. We work together on some Yoga postures and sequences and I design a short practice for you to do at home. After that we will meet every few weeks and review your practice, how you feel about it, how it's helping. I will alter and develop the practice over time. I may also suggest small lifestyle changes and advise on diet where this seems relevant.
