Tianjun Wang

Prof. Dr. Wang brings with his a wealth of knowledge and experience of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, together with a sympathetic understanding of the needs and problems for the Western patients. Dr. Wang is highly qualified and experienced in most aspects of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture. He gained a BSc and completed his PhD in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) from TCM University of Nanjing, China (NUCM). Dr Wang accumulated 33 years of experience treating a wide variety of illness with acupuncture and herbal remedies. Especially in the treatment of difficult and complex cases. The expert areas of Prof. Wang are treatment of neurological and mental disorders, with special acupuncture techniques such as scalp acupuncture, Dao-qi technique, electric acupuncture, etc. His authored book "Acupuncture for Brain: Treatment for Neurological and Psychologic Disorders" published by Springer in 2020.

Dr. Tianjun Wang graduated from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine (NUCM) in 1989 and had worked as a Medical Doctor and Acupuncturist in a TCM, China for 18 years. Dr. T Wang completed his PhD at NUCM, studying and researching Acupuncture in the Treatment for Depression. Dr. Wang was a clinical supervisor and Vice-professor in NUCM. From 2001 to 2003 he worked as a Lecturer and Acupuncturist in the Mediterranean Regional Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine (MRCTCM), MALTA. Dr. Wang moved to UK and joined University of East London UK (UEL) as a full-time Senior Lecturer and Practitioner from 2007, then the Director of Acupuncture Clinic in 2008 until Dec 2014. Dr. Wang is a Visiting Professor of Liaoning University of TCM, Guest Professor of NUCM from.
