About me

When anxiety, depression, or the effects of trauma begin to affect our ability to think clearly, concentrate or perform as we normally would, it can become another source of distress. I work with professionals experiencing persistent worry, anxiety, low mood, or the effects of trauma.

Anxiety, persistent worry, low mood or the effects of trauma can affect our everyday life. These difficulties can affect how we think, feel and behave, as well as our relationships, confidence, work and ability to enjoy life. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, persistent worry and the effects of trauma. My previous career in Human Resources also gives me an understanding of the psychological challenges people can experience alongside demanding careers and working environments.

I offer structured, collaborative Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). We work together to understand what maintains your difficulties, agree meaningful therapy goals, and use evidence-based CBT strategies to help you develop more helpful ways of responding and make lasting changes.

Experience

I hold a Master's degree in Health Psychology, a Master's degree in Social Work, and most recently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Therapies (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). Before transitioning into psychological therapy, I spent over eight years working in Human Resources across multiple sectors, where I gained extensive experience supporting individuals in demanding workplace environments. My professional journey has provided me with a strong understanding of the psychological impact of stress, organisational challenges and life transitions, which complements my therapeutic practice.

My Approach

I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, respectful and tailored to the individual. Rather than simply focusing on symptoms, I work with clients to understand the patterns of thoughts, emotions and behaviours that may be maintaining their difficulties. Together, we identify meaningful goals and develop practical strategies that can be applied in everyday life. I strive to create a warm, non-judgemental and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable exploring challenges at their own pace. I aim to help clients become their own therapist by developing the skills and confidence to manage future difficulties independently.
