About me

I offer a genuine and supportive space where you can speak openly, without fear of judgement, and feel understood.

Whether you are facing a specific challenge or simply have a sense that something doesn't feel quite right, I invite you to bring whatever is on your mind. Together, we can explore your experiences at a pace that feels comfortable, helping you develop greater self-awareness, clarity, and confidence in moving forward.

My approach combines relational exploration with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I am interested in understanding how past experiences, relationships, and learned ways of coping may influence your current thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

Alongside this deeper understanding, CBT offers practical tools to help you manage difficulties, challenge unhelpful patterns, and create meaningful change in your daily life.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Counselling, a Diploma in CBT, and am a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). I am currently training toward a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and am a Student Member of the UK Association for Transactional Analysis (UKATA). I am also working toward accreditation with both the UKCP and BACP.

My Approach

The way we think, feel, and respond to life's experiences can have a significant impact on our emotional wellbeing, behaviours, relationships, and overall quality of life. When difficult thoughts, feelings, or patterns become overwhelming or go unrecognised, they can contribute to challenges such as anxiety, low mood, stress, and avoidance.

My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), while also recognising the importance of understanding the wider context of your experiences. Together, we will explore how your thoughts, emotions, behaviours, relationships, and life experiences may be connected, helping you gain greater insight into the difficulties you are facing.

Using evidence-based CBT techniques, I will work collaboratively with you to identify unhelpful patterns, understand what may be maintaining them, and develop practical strategies to support meaningful change. Therapy can help you build awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, allowing you to respond to challenges in ways that feel more balanced, constructive, and aligned with your values.

I work at your pace, offering a supportive and non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences safely. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to work alongside you in developing greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and confidence in your ability to navigate life's challenges.

I offer an initial 15-minute consultation at no charge. During this time, we will briefly discuss your goals and my approach to therapy
