About me

Hello, I am a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT therapist) specialising in Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

I provide evidence based CBT in line with guidance from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), focusing specifically on these areas. This means therapy is targeted, structured, and designed to create meaningful and lasting change.

I work with adults and adolescents from my clinics in Kenilworth and Bournville, as well as offering online CBT therapy across the UK.

Many of the people I work with feel stuck in repetitive cycles, whether that is intrusive thoughts in OCD, the ongoing impact of trauma, or the daily challenges associated with ADHD. Therapy focuses on helping you understand these patterns and develop practical, effective strategies to regain control and move forward.

Experience

I have extensive clinical experience across NHS services, local authority settings, Specialist Adult mental health services, CAMHS, voluntary and private sector.

I am BABCP accredited and hold a Postgraduate Diploma in High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, alongside a BSc (Hons) in Social Work. I have also completed additional specialist training in OCD, PTSD, complex trauma and ADHD.

Specialisms

I specialise in the assessment and treatment of:

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

As a specialist CBT therapist, these are the primary areas I work in. This ensures therapy is focused, evidence-based, and aligned with best practice.

For OCD, I provide Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold standard CBT treatment recommended by NICE.

For trauma and PTSD, I offer structured, evidence-based CBT approaches that help process traumatic experiences and reduce ongoing symptoms such as hypervigilance, intrusive memories, and emotional overwhelm.

For ADHD, I provide CBT-based support focused on executive functioning, including organisation, focus, time management, emotional regulation, and task completion.

My Approach

My approach is structured, evidence-based, and collaborative.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy focuses on understanding the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and how these patterns maintain difficulties such as OCD, trauma responses, and ADHD related challenges.

In sessions, we work together to:

-Identify and understand maintaining patterns

-Develop practical, evidence-based strategies

-Apply these strategies in a structured and measurable way

For OCD, this includes Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to reduce compulsions and intrusive thoughts.

For trauma and PTSD, therapy focuses on processing experiences so they no longer dominate the present.

For ADHD, sessions are focused on building practical systems and strategies that improve day to day functioning and reduce overwhelm.

My style is professional, supportive, and direct. Clients often value a clear and structured approach that is both compassionate and focused on achieving results.
