Molly Kavanagh
Counsellor in Belper

Hi, I'm Molly - a registered BACP therapist (MBACP) with an MSc in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (Distinction) from the University of Derby. I believe therapy should feel comfortable, not formal - this is your space, and my aim is to make it feel safe, supportive, and free of judgement. You don't need to have it all figured out to start - I'm here to meet you where you are.
Choosing a therapist is a personal and meaningful decision. I offer a supportive space built on trust, empathy, and understanding, where you can explore your thoughts and emotions without fear of judgement. My integrative approach combines compassion, experience, and evidence-based techniques to support your emotional and mental wellbeing.
I believe in seeing the whole person - mind, body, and spirit - and take into account how different parts of your life are connected. While we may focus on specific issues, my aim is to help uncover patterns, strengthen relationships, and support lasting personal growth.
I'm committed to providing culturally sensitive therapy that respects your identity, values, and lived experience. I strive to create an inclusive, affirming environment where diversity is welcomed and honoured.
