About me

Sometimes life can look fine on the outside while things feel quite different underneath.

You might feel anxious, overwhelmed, low or stuck, or find that the same thoughts, feelings or patterns keep coming back. Perhaps you’re struggling to make sense of something that has happened, or you’re simply tired of carrying everything on your own.

I offer warm, thoughtful counselling for adults who want to understand themselves more deeply, make sense of what they’re experiencing and find a way forward that feels more like their own.

Based in Lewes, I offer in-person counselling locally and online across the UK and Europe.

Experience

I’m a qualified Humanistic Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

I hold a Diploma in Integrative Humanistic Creative Counselling and have completed 450 hours of face-to-face counselling practice alongside my own personal therapy.

Alongside my private practice, I offer low-cost counselling through a local network. I have also supported adults and young people through grief and bereavement at St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Eastbourne, and have experience working in educational settings with neurodivergent adults and young people experiencing social, emotional and mental health challenges.

Originally from Austria and now living in the UK, I also have personal experience of navigating change, belonging and life between cultures.

Specialisms

I work with adults experiencing:

Anxiety, stress and emotional overwhelm

Low mood and depression

Grief, bereavement and loss

Life transitions, change and identity

Relationship difficulties, patterns and boundaries

Self-esteem, self-worth and body image

Neurodivergence, ADHD and high sensitivity

Trauma and difficult past experiences

Cultural and cross-cultural experiences, including living between worlds

Work stress, burnout and pressure to cope

I also offer online counselling to people living abroad or navigating life between cultures.

My Approach

I work in an integrative, humanistic way, drawing mainly on Person-Centred, Gestalt and Existential approaches, alongside other perspectives where they are helpful.

I see you as the expert in your own experience. Together, we can become curious about what you are feeling, what may be happening underneath it, and the patterns that can shape how you respond to yourself, other people and the world around you.

There is no pressure to have the right words or to arrive with everything figured out. We can work with thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, emotions, pauses and silence — whatever helps you express what is going on.

I bring warmth, curiosity and steadiness to the relationship, while respecting your pace and what feels manageable for you. My aim is not to fix or change you, but to help create the conditions in which you can develop greater understanding, self-acceptance and choice.

For me, therapy is relational and reflective: a space where you can feel genuinely met, explore what matters to you, and begin to find your own way forward.
