Dee McDonald

I'm a highly experienced and qualified psychologist, psychotherapist and sex & relationship counsellor. I've been working in private practice in London and Sussex for the past twenty years and am presently working from a secluded practice in a private property in the Ashdown Forest. Much of the work I do involves helping people with relationship ‘hiccups'. I also research relationships and am interested in each relationship for it's own unique qualities. I'm happy to work with individuals, as well as the couple as a dyadic unit. I'm equally experienced working with polyamorous triads, extended family groups or any other alternative intimate groupings. I'm a kink aware professional who has helped many people work towards the unique relationship they aim for with themselves or others.

I'm a Graduate Member of The British Psychological Society, and adhere to their code of ethics. I offer a variety of services, face-to-face, by telephone, or online. Face-2-face consultations for individuals usually last for 60 minutes and 120 minutes for couples. These are tend to be at my practice in East Sussex but may, by prior arrangement take place elsewhere. Increasingly, clients opt to use my on-line service (Zoom, FaceTime or Skype) for some or all of their consultations. This can be suitable to fit in with a busy lifestyle or in order to control their carbon footprint. I also offer a telephone service for clients who have had an initial face-2-face consultation. Sometimes people find that they'd like to combine these forms of discussion into a programme that is suitable to their lifestyle. In addition, you may choose to opt for one of the workshops we have available and are advertised on my website.
