I am a warm, open-minded, and sex-positive counsellor based in Exeter and online across Europe, supporting individuals with anxiety, trauma and relationship challenges. Life can feel overwhelming when intense emotions or past experiences continue to affect daily life. You may struggle with anxiety, emotional dysregulation, or hypersensitivity, or notice patterns like fear of abandonment, codependency, or enmeshment in relationships. Past experiences, including attachment trauma or emotional abuse, can influence how you connect with yourself and others. I provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore these challenges, strengthen resilience, and build healthier, more fulfilling connections.
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling, which provides a strong professional foundation for my work. Alongside this formal training, my lived experience has been a significant part of my journey and practice. Having navigated my own trauma, explored identity, and engaged with diverse alternative lifestyles, I bring a depth of understanding that goes beyond textbooks. I am able to connect with clients in a way that honors different perspectives and ways of being. This combination of professional study and real-life experience allows me to offer a compassionate, grounded, and relatable approach to counseling. I am committed to ongoing training in my professional field of interest. I continue to develop and update my work through workshops, conferences, research literature further training and regular supervision. I am a fully insured member and abide by the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I work with neurotypical clients and those who are formally diagnosed or self-identified as neurodiverse (ADHD, Autism, OCD), adapting therapy to the way each individual experiences the world. I also practice from a sex-positive, LGBTQIA+ affirming perspective, welcoming all identities and lifestyles. Areas of Focus: Anxiety, panic, and difficulty managing strong emotions Attachment wounds and abandonment concerns Enmeshment, codependent patterns, and boundary challenges Identity exploration and confidence issues Family conflict and complex relational dynamics Effects of controlling or invalidating environments People-pleasing behaviors and self-sabotaging patterns
My approach is holistic, trauma-informed, and sensitive to your individual needs, with a strong emphasis on validating your lived experience. You can share anything with me, even if it feels difficult or shameful. Together we'll focus on healing and self-acceptance while also developing practical skills to manage thoughts and behaviours in ways that create meaningful change. I sometimes incorporate therapeutic coaching to offer strategies tailored to how your brain works. Above all, I aim to provide a compassionate, collaborative space where you feel supported in exploring who you are and creating the life you want.
