About me

Jodie Frances Therapy MBACP

I’m a qualified Humanistic Integrative Therapist and registered member of the MBACP.

I am an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor offering a welcoming, respectful, safe, confidential and compassionate place to explore challenges and opportunities. I aim to provide a supportive understanding of each person’s unique experience of the world.

Working integratively means using several psychotherapeutic theories to create a consistent and holistic approach.

I work with both teenagers (11–18) and adults, offering a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and accepted.

I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, especially when life feels overwhelming, confusing, or emotionally exhausting. My aim is to create a safe and trusting relationship where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

Experience

I hold an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic Integrative Counselling. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and work in accordance with their ethical framework and best practice guidance.

Specialisms

I have a particular passion for working with teenagers and young people aged 11–18. Adolescence can be an incredibly difficult and pressured time, with challenges around identity, friendships, school, anxiety, self-esteem, family relationships, social media, and emotional wellbeing. I provide young people with a calm and supportive environment where they can express themselves freely and feel genuinely understood.

Alongside my work with teenagers, I also support adults experiencing anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, life transitions, grief, overwhelm, and feelings of being “stuck.” Therapy can offer a valuable opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

I offer sessions from my private home therapy space in Southgate, as well as online therapy for those who prefer the flexibility and comfort of attending remotely.

My Approach

As a Humanistic Integrative Therapist, I tailor therapy to each individual because I believe there is no “one size fits all” approach. I draw from different therapeutic approaches to support your unique needs, helping you gain deeper self-awareness, build resilience, improve relationships, and navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence and clarity.

Therapeutic approaches used: Gestalt, Humanistic, Integrative, Person centred, Psychoanalytic, Psychodynamic, Transactional analysis, Transpersonal

I work online and in-person based in London, N14.

I can offer both short and long-term open-ended counselling to adults. Sessions are weekly and last 50 minutes.
