About me

I’m a warm, compassionate and approachable person who genuinely values the importance of feeling heard and understood. I believe everyone has their own unique story and deserves a safe, non-judgemental space to be themselves.

I’m passionate about supporting people through difficult times, particularly grief, loss and trauma. I feel privileged to be able to walk alongside people as they work through their experiences, helping them find understanding, strength and hope.

Specialisms

I specialise in supporting adults experiencing grief, bereavement and loss, as well as those who have experienced trauma or difficult life experiences. I understand that everyone responds to loss and trauma differently, and I offer a safe, compassionate space to explore whatever you may be experiencing.

I also work with a range of other concerns, including:

Anxiety and excessive worry

Depression and low mood

Stress and feeling overwhelmed

Low self-esteem and confidence

Relationship difficulties

Life changes and transitions

Emotional difficulties

Past and difficult experiences

Loss and significant life changes

Feeling stuck, lost or unsure about the future

My integrative approach means that our work is tailored to you and your individual needs. You don't need to have a specific diagnosis or know exactly what is wrong before reaching out. Sometimes, simply knowing that you are struggling is enough to begin exploring what is happening and how things could feel different.

My Approach

My approach to therapy is integrative, with Person-Centred Therapy at the heart of my work. I believe that you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace.

Working integratively allows me to draw on different therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to you as an individual, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. We will work collaboratively to explore what feels most helpful for you and what you need from therapy.

I believe the relationship we build together is an important part of the therapeutic process. I aim to offer warmth, empathy, honesty and acceptance, creating a space where you can feel comfortable being yourself without fear of judgement.

Whether you are experiencing grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties or simply feeling overwhelmed by life, we can explore what is happening for you and work towards greater understanding, self-awareness and positive change.

Therapy is your journey, and I will be there alongside you, offering support and guidance while respecting your choices, pace and individual needs.
