Do you have feelings of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem? Concerned about a teenage son or daughter in your life? Are you worried or struggling to cope with family or relationship issues? I can help.....
What do I offer? - I understand that taking the first step to begin counselling can feel daunting. I offer a confidential, safe, non-judgemental space in which you can talk about emotions and thoughts that you may not have been able to express before. My aim is to provide a supportive therapeutic relationship where you experience warmth, empathy and understanding.
Can therapy really help me? Yes, it can. Counselling gives you a place where you’re not judged, you’re not told what to do, and you won’t be forced to listen to just one single opinion. I want to give you a place to feel safe to share about yourself. Therapy takes some work at times and I won’t lie, it can get uncomfortable. But, I feel that most people leave counselling feeling like the time and energy they put into therapy was well worth it.
I believe in compassion, trust, and growth. My aim is to empower individuals and young people / teenagers through understanding and support. Creating safe spaces to explore your thoughts and feelings. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, or life changes, I’m here to listen, together we will work on understanding your challenges and building coping strategies.
I have been working as a therapist offering counselling to young people, teenagers and adults over the last 15 years. I work both face to face and online. I care about my work with my clients, I am good at what I do and I enjoy it. Whilst I cannot promise miracles, I can promise that I will give you everything I have to help you work through the difficulties that you are experiencing. If you’ve read this far, I’m guessing you’re ready to do the same for yourself.
I am a BACP qualified counsellor with 15+ years of experience in helping people manage anxiety, depression and family and relationship issues.
I have over 10 years of providing a counselling service in primary and secondary schools across Suffolk and Norfolk.
I am a qualified supervisor. I offer supervision to therapists in private practice, working in schools and with young people and newly qualified and trainee counsellors.

Adult Counselling
The essential purpose of therapy is to enable a better understanding and awareness of yourself so that you can make informed choices about how you want to live your life. Counselling can explore the barriers in your life, those you are conscious of and others you are not. Some problems may never go away entirely, but how we manage them, and our attitude and relationship to them can change. In fact, as we feel better, or make different connections, the problem may not be so dominating.
Together we explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe space. Whether you're facing stress, anxiety, or personal challenges, I'm here to listen and support you. Together, we’ll work on understanding your emotions and finding effective ways to cope, we’ll uncover your strengths and develop coping strategies.
Young People’s Counselling
Young people’s counselling offers a safe space for young people to express themselves. Together, we’ll tackle issues like stress, friendships, and self-esteem. My goal is to help teens build confidence and navigate life’s challenges with support and understanding.
It’s tough when your teenager is in pain, and you’re unable to fix it. As a parent, you want your teen to feel confident. You’re willing to do what it takes to support them, but you aren’t sure how. Maybe you’ve scoured the internet for help, read parenting books, and asked your friends for advice on what to do? The suggestions you got may have helped a little, but they didn’t solve the problems?
I work with clients Face to Race - Online and I offer Walking Therapy. I am also a qualified Supervisor.
Walking Therapy
Walking therapy is something that I find to be very therapeutic with clients of all ages. Instead of sitting in front of your counsellor in a traditional therapy room, the counselling session takes place outdoors walking side by side.
It is counselling in motion. If you have felt stuck in therapy in the past, being physically active helps release some tensions and stimulates new thoughts and ideas. It is a metaphor for moving forward.
Therapeutic Supervision
I aim to build a safe, creative and professional relationship with my supervisees in order to encourage a reflective and open space in which you can explore your client work ensuring it remains ethical and effective.
Supervision provides guidance for new and experienced therapists alike. I offer a collaborative space to discuss cases, share insights, and enhance your skills. Together, we’ll explore ethical practices, build confidence, and ensure your growth as a practitioner.
