About me

I’m Liza, a BACP-registered counsellor & psychotherapist with a BSc (Hons), based in Chiswick (W4) and Richmond (TW9). I offer confidential counselling for adults, in person and online, across the UK. I support people with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and bereavement, relationship and family difficulties (such as affairs, divorce, and betrayal), anger, burnout, low self-esteem, addiction, phobias, eating difficulties, self-harm, health anxiety, OCD, PTSD, suicidal thoughts, and many other emotional and psychological challenges. I also work with people living with or bereaved by cancer.

Experience

My private practice is informed by my wider experience within specialist mental health, cancer support, and crisis intervention services. Through this work, I have supported people facing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, gaining a deeper understanding of the difficulties people can experience during times of distress, uncertainty, and significant life change. This experience has strengthened my commitment to creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can feel valued, understood, and supported.

I hold a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Person-Centred Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy and am continuing my professional development through postgraduate studies in Trauma and Psychology at the UCL Division of Psychology and Language Sciences.
