About me
I have experience over 25 years in couple work and been in private practice for 22 years, working with individuals and couples. I provide a safe, confidential space for clients to explore past and present difficulties.
Experience
My first profession was a Biology / Guidance teacher in secondary schools. I trained with Scottish Marriage Guidance and retrained with Relationships Scotland with whom I did voluntary work for more than 20 years. After completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Communication and Counselling I set up in Private Practice. I am a Registered member of BACP and adhere to their Ethical Guidellines. I am registered Practitioner in the Understanding Your Eating programme (UYE).
Specialisms
Individual and couple/ relationship therapy. Understanding Your Eating practitioner. TA ( transactional analysis) & Psychodynamic theories.
My Approach
I work with individuals , students and couples, both short and long- term in a confidential private setting.
