About me
I am 62 years old, married with three grown up daughters. I have been counselling for 15 years in provate practice. I use various counselling techniques such as person centred, CBT, Transactional Analysis and others. Working with stress, trauma, grief and many other issues
Experience
Trained at Dudley College up HND level Also completed teacher training course and taught counselling at Dudley and Stourbridge colleges. Have complete other specialised training in Loss and Bereavement.
Specialisms
Stress, anxiety, bereavement, fear, shame, hurt, anger and general feelings of not being able to cope.
My Approach
My basic approach is person centred, working with cognative and some elements of transactional analysis. In a session the focus is listenning and helping clients to understand themselves and what is happening to themselves and helping them move forward in ways they are able to commit to.
