Wendy Whipp
Counsellor in Lacey Green

My interest in Psychology stemmed from a desire to understand why similar life events could have different effects on different people. I have found that Psychological Therapies can provide an insight into how we can deal with life events and move forward from them.

I have worked with a wide range of people with a wide range of concerns & problems that are both unique to them but also with shared aspects.

Presentations that I work with include: PTSD; Anxiety (all types) Depression and Anorexia Nervosa. I work with adults and young people over 16

In addition to. my client work I provide supervision to other clinicians. I am also the Chair of Trustees at a charity.

Through my work I have seen that psychological therapies can be tailored to the individual, whilst still adhering to the evidence base, to provide life changing results.
