I work with people living the after effects of traumatic experiences, I also work with psychosexual issues with a particular focus on addiction. I have more than 20 years experience is in working therapeutically with trauma and addiction. I am a Somatic Therapist which means I use body-based and psychological approaches to help people to feel more comfortable in their own skin. A combination of touch and talking helps to integrate the physiological responses with a psychological understanding of trauma and addiction. I have been in private practice since 2003 including 12 years in the NHS at a centre for people in medical convalescence, palliative care and support with addictions.

I am in continuous professional development through regular training courses every year, as well as ongoing personal therapy and clinical supervision. I have trained extensively in Craniosacral Therapy, Somatic Trauma Therapy, Psychosexual Therapy. In addition to my private practice, I was previously a Senior Tutor on Craniosacral Therapy training courses across Europe, the Middle East and North America for more than 10 years. I am a Registered Craniosacral Therapist with both the Craniosacral Therapy Association in the UK, the BCTA in North America (where I am also accredited as an approved teacher) and also through the IABT which oversees standards of practice worldwide. I practice in accordance with the CSTA Code oF Ethics. My training in Psychosexual Therapy and Sexual Addiction Therapy is accredited by College of Sexual & Relationship Therapists (COSRT) and the Association of Sexual Addiction Therapists (ATSAC).
